ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AGE PROGRAMS:
How can I register/enroll my child for your programs?
We are currently offering after school PTA/PTO approved enrichment programs. We respect the schools PTA/PTO rules and go by however they register for such programs. Many would appreciate enrollment through their own web site while some would like to use our web site for payment processing.
What can I do if I would like you to teach in our elementary school?
We would be psyched to do so. Please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org explaining which school and county you would like the program to be offered. It is always more helpful for us to have an introduction to the person coordinating such programs in your school.
Do I need any art experience?
No, you do not need any prior experience. Please come join our class even if you cannot draw a stick figure! Our vision is to make cultural arts accessible to everyone. Our teachers will lead you step by step. Everyone can do it. Just bring your fun personality and give us a chance to get to know you.
How do I register for a session?
Please go to our CLASSES page (or simply click HERE), choose a session, and click on the "ADD TO CART" button. You will be taken to our payment process.
Is there an age limit?
Unless otherwise noted, participants need to be 15 years or older. All students younger than 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
When should I show up for the event?
Please be at the venue at the time of the class. We cherish every minute of the class with you and don't want to miss a moment.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Of course we do as long as we are NOT sold out for that session. However, we highly recommend registering in advance to guarantee a saved seat.
Can I be seated with my friends or family? We did not make our reservations together.
Absolutely! We do not have assigned seating.
What should I wear?
We will provide aprons, though it might be a good idea to leave your expensive clothes at home just in case you want to get extra creative. We all want to forget about our worries, relax and have fun in a casual environment.
Can I bring my own food or drink?
If you are attending a public class, we respectfully ask you to buy your food and drinks from the venue provider. We want to help local businesses thrive while having fun with art. Please let us know in advance if you have allergies and need to bring your own food.
Do you have an inclement weather policy?
In case of bad weather, we will make a decision about cancellation of a class after consulting with local businesses and announce the decision on our web site and other social channels.
Ooops, I think I left my umbrella when I was leaving. What do I do now?
Although we are not responsible for any items left behind by our guests, we will do our best to hold on to them for a month. We need to recycle any unclaimed items after this time period
Can I bring children?
Most of our public sessions are geared towards participants 15 years of age and older. As many of us are parents, we understand that you may need to bring your little ones with you sometimes. Please make sure that you supervise children at all times. You know the old saying: unattended children will be given two shots of espresso and a free puppy :-)
Can I bring my own materials?
Sure, if you prefer to do so. We will bring enough supplies for each participant.
Do you organize private parties for kids/adults and fundraisers?
Yes, we do. We love to be part of your celebrations! Please email us at email@example.com to discuss the details. Please give us 2 weeks notice for the Globart team to plan accordingly and deliver the best service.
What is your cancellation policy?
We need a 48 hour window for cancellation to protect our local business owners who are hosting us in their stores. As you can imagine, they have to prepare their venue for our class and figure out the layout depending on the number of participants. You will receive a full refund as long as the cancellation occurs within 48 hours of class start time. Loss of payment will occur for "no shows" or a cancellation with less than 48 hours notice.
GLOBART LLC reserves the right to cancel events for any reason. Registrants will be issued full refunds in such a situation.
What happens if I am late?
You are fine as long as you come within the first 20 minutes of the class, we will bring you up to speed. If you arrive later than this window of time but within the first hour of the session, we will need to reschedule your session. Arrivals after an hour a class started will be subject to cancellation due to no-show.
